Since 1982, the self-taught Nils Holger Moormann, as one of the protagonists of the "New German Design", has been placing all production in the hands of young and unknown designers, following the principles of simplicity and innovation.

In 1992, Moormann settled in Upper Bavaria, located in the middle of the Alps, the company tried to have everything it needed in the nearby companies, since a large proportion of the product components were manufactured by external suppliers. The company retains a high degree of flexibility and a large number of manufactured items.

From an unconventional vision of a single firm man, the company he has developed, has a team of 20 employees, who leave Nils Holger Moormann time to be active as a member of international juries and give lectures. The furniture collection, many of which have been awarded international design awards, is constantly being expanded, with new furniture and product lines.
