Sancal was founded in 1973 in Yecla, where an incipient industrial fabric around furniture began to gain strength. In this context of heyday, an idealist, self-taught and somewhat unconscious, Santiago Castaño Carpena, decides to leave his job to undertake a more personal project: designing, manufacturing and marketing armchairs and modular sets for contemporary homes.

Sancal has in her DNA to be Spanish, with everything that entails, her culture, passion, creativity. Their creations are made locally, thus being able to control all steps of production and artisan quality, in addition to their love for what they do.

The sum of all these qualities means that Sancal can offer us highly customizable products for each of our projects, creating unique, exciting and timeless spaces, both for the home and for all types of installation, whether it is an office, hotel, hospital or restaurant.
