The company was born in 1964 when its founders Romano Seletti and Luigi Goglio collected a collection of objects from their travels in Asia and opened a business specializing in decoration with pieces made of bamboo, fabrics and different utensils brought back from their travels. Very soon they became the first Italian importers of Asian products.

In the 90s is when Seletti acquires its true recognition, this moment is marked by a generational change, it is when Stefano Seletti and Luca Goglio, sons of the founders, begin to work in the company and decide not only to focus on imports but also to create their own designs and make their brand more international.    This is how Seletti makes a place for itself among the best design brands with a philosophy very marked by quality and Italian design mixed with oriental notes that results in a unique product where you can find works of exclusive design with other much more accessible collections.

 

 Seletti is an Italian brand much loved by Italians and well known all over the world, with original, fun, daring and even provocative designs. An affordable design for all audiences  that leaves no one indifferent .

 

One of the latest successes of this irreverent brand has been the collections created with DIESEL, one inspired by the "Cosmic Diner" space and the other by the world of "Machine Collection" mechanics.

The incorporation of designers such as Studio Job or Marcantonio, have given great strength and notoriety to the Seletti brand  within the world of design.

Many of Seletti's pieces are already in the collections of museums such as the MoMA in New York.
